You may remember this gorgeous couple {or at least their paper goods} from here or here...we have been happily working on their wedding for the past six {plus} months and are finding it hard to believe they are now 100% married! That was until Cass was kind enough to send through some stunning photos of the happy day...

Paper LOVE...Save Our Date

Is it too far into the year to say Happy New Year? Yes? Well I am going to say it anyway...Happy New Year Friends I hope you all had a blessed festive season and a happy and safe New Year.

Ours was wonderful to say the least. We spent most of January with family and friends travelling through Chicago, Toronto and (secretly getting married in) New York. Yes, you read that right we had a super special secret wedding in New York that we can't wait to share with you (just waiting for the professional photos to come through...trust us we can barely contain ourselves so we will be sure and post them as soon as they arrive!).

Today we got a squeal-with-delight, super cute Save The Date in the mail that we created for some very special friends. It was the kick in the butt we needed to get something up on this severely overlooked little blog of ours!

The gorgeous couple are, as always, a delight to create for and so I had a little fun with their engagement photos and some hand lettering to get from this...

We were all pretty chuffed with how they came out...mind you with that gorgeous dachshund in a bow tie we were never going to go wrong!

Xmas LOVE...Anytime Advent

So I have been a little bit absent (again) lately and as per my last post (and I am sure the one before that and so on and so on); I'm sorry! Wedding season seems to be in full swing (again) and we are making our way through place cards and menus and seating charts and order of services that we will share in the coming weeks. But what we have been madly working on recently is getting the shop ready for christmas. Every year on Melbourne Cup Day we close the shop, paper the windows and bring christmas to Jean & Joyce. I will post photos of the entire shop tomorrow, but today I could not resist sharing my favourite piece of mum's Christmas handicrafts...this fabulous Advent wall hanging (that could probably be used year round!)...

We thought we would start a little 'At home with Jean & Joyce' section on the blog to showcase some of the gorgeous homes we get to be a part of. And what better place to kick things off than with Nick & Jenny {the lovely couple we created the pom pom mobiles for here}. Nick & Jenny have collected some gorgeous pieces from us {& others on our Upper Latrobe strip} over the last couple of years and we were even lucky enough to create their gorgeous aqua bedsides for them! We absolutely adore the way Nick & Jenny have filled their home and can feel that every piece has been hand selected with love and care...

Nick & Jenny, thank you so much for letting us showcase your gorgeous home and congratulations on the birth of your gorgeous new addition...we can't wait to meet him!

Event LOVE...Paper Programs

Hooray!! 

We are back in the land of technology...and gosh it feels good!  

On Saturday on the other side of the world {in England to be precise} a beautiful wedding was taking place. The beautiful bride is originally from the UK but living in Australia with her groom and we were lucky enough to create the wedding programs and table seating cards for her wedding. 

We can't wait to see the programs in situ {I think that might be the farthest any Jean & Joyce goodies have travelled!} thanks for letting us be a part of your special day!

Home LOVE...Pretty Pom Poms

On Monday I was lucky enough to make a special home delivery for some lovely customers.
They are expecting their own special delivery very soon and wanted some beautiful bunches of pom poms to add the finishing touch to the nursery before he or she comes along. We were more than happy to help and almost squealed when we saw how perfectly they matched the already gorgeous nursery...

Good luck Nick & Jenny we can't wait to meet the gorgeous new addition to your beautiful family! We hope he or she likes their gorgeous ceiling decorations as much as we do!

Have I ever told you guys how great my mum is?
Well, on the chance that I haven't, she really is pretty great!
I thought I would show you all some of the gorgeous cushions she has been making of late...

Is there nothing this woman can't do! If you are in need of any cushions for yourself, the house or a gift pop in store and let mum work her magic for you {I may be a little bias, but I'm sure that you will love them}.

Event LOVE...A sweet{heart} engagement!

Today we wanted to share one of our favourite invitations that went out recently (a coincidence that the Bride-to-be just so happens to be one of our favourite people also!). We pretty much had free reign over the design of this invitation (I don't see any bridezilla moments from this easy going Bride!) so we sent a few options to the happy couple and they settled on this one...we were glad because it was our favourite also!

Can't wait to help with the wedding suite as well!

Shop LOVE...Custom Cushions

Happy Friday friends! I thought I would leave you all with this gorgeously bright and cheery cushion {a custom order for one seriously funky lady!}. This is actually the second one of these that we have had to make in 2 days {another customer walked in as we were making the first and begged for the exact same one}.

Today we were shopping for spring. That's right we were buying the fashion for 4 months time. And let me tell you, we can't wait! Beautiful cottons and laces and linens with pretty patterns and cutouts await.

Shop LOVE...Go Green

It must be friday if Mum is walking into the shop with a length of turf under her arm and a bag of miscellaneous other craft materials in the other. It can only mean one thing...the shop is going to be up ended and today is going to be a long {but incredibly fun} day!

We are seeing fields of green and gold and a menagerie of moss animals on our table after today. I hope you enjoy our luscious easter table as much as we do...it makes us happy every time we look at it!

Shop LOVE...We are loving

Today in the shop we are loving ...

Bold and sparkly new Easter cards that make us want to eat chocolate all day long.

And these Über cute new bright yellow chairs that mum has been working on.

I have been anxiously awaiting the completion of these chairs for a little while now and was more than pleasantly surprised when I walked into the store this morning to see them nestled comfortably at our work table. I don't think I will be able to admire them for long though!
