Paper LOVE...Save Our Date

Is it too far into the year to say Happy New Year? Yes? Well I am going to say it anyway...Happy New Year Friends I hope you all had a blessed festive season and a happy and safe New Year.

Ours was wonderful to say the least. We spent most of January with family and friends travelling through Chicago, Toronto and (secretly getting married in) New York. Yes, you read that right we had a super special secret wedding in New York that we can't wait to share with you (just waiting for the professional photos to come through...trust us we can barely contain ourselves so we will be sure and post them as soon as they arrive!).

Today we got a squeal-with-delight, super cute Save The Date in the mail that we created for some very special friends. It was the kick in the butt we needed to get something up on this severely overlooked little blog of ours!

The gorgeous couple are, as always, a delight to create for and so I had a little fun with their engagement photos and some hand lettering to get from this...

We were all pretty chuffed with how they came out...mind you with that gorgeous dachshund in a bow tie we were never going to go wrong!

Hi friends I hope you had a wonderful weekend...we sure did!
In a nutshell: Finders Keepers, Mt Tamborine, wine and cheese...Bliss. We did manage to do a little bit of work as well though; the cutest new baby thank you's that we can't wait to share, but today we wanted to share some save the dates that went out recently...

The bride and groom wanted a simple and classic look for their invitations and were a delight to work with, I am so glad they were happy with how they turned out.

Can't wait to start on the wedding invites!
