Shop LOVE...Go Green

It must be friday if Mum is walking into the shop with a length of turf under her arm and a bag of miscellaneous other craft materials in the other. It can only mean one thing...the shop is going to be up ended and today is going to be a long {but incredibly fun} day!

We are seeing fields of green and gold and a menagerie of moss animals on our table after today. I hope you enjoy our luscious easter table as much as we do...it makes us happy every time we look at it!

Styling LOVE...all that glitters is Gold!

Happy Monday friends. I am finding it a little hard to believe that as of Thursday it will be March. The year seems to be flying by already. Today I started thinking about what to do next in store as far as table and window displays go. We decided that we wanted something that would give an Easter/celebration inspired look and what we came up with was; Gold. Here was the thought process: Easter - eggs - the goose that laid the golden egg - GOLD. Don't ask how that all linked in my mind it just did. I put together a little mood board for inspiration...

I couldn't wait to get started so I quickly sprayed a glass bottle gold. 

I don't know about you but I love the result, I can't wait to show you all the gold goodness soon!

Styling LOVE...

It's done! For now anyway. It will keep transforming over the next few days as mum continues to add  or take away as she sees fit (this happens almost everytime!).

The pale blue hand dyed lace curtain is the inspiration for our romantic table display (it is the month of love after all). 

Mirrors add light and give dimension to any table; they also make wonderful placemats.

Mum has always said that no table (or shelf, or bathroom basin, or benchtop, any surface really) is complete without flowers. The simple daisy is our choice for this light and loving table.

Sneak Peek

So the boxes are open and we are working to get the shop looking beautiful again (we always manage to make a delightful mess as we are restyling the store!). So far so good though. Here's a quick snapshot of the work in progress...
