Blog LOVE...We're still here

...and we still love you!

We have had so much fun stuff going on around here of late that it has left little time for blogging about it. So I thought I would put together a little list of the things I want to share from the past few weeks and it can serve as a quasi checklist for me!!

So in no particular order the things that will be coming your way (in the hopefully not too distant future) are:

1). NYC Baby...the surprise wedding and all things fabulous!
2). Our reception invitations to a post wedding party in Brisbane (for all of the family and friends that couldn't make it to NY),
3). A knotty Noosa engagement invitation,
4). A colorful wedding invitation to what is sure to be a raucous good time,
5). The gorgeous invitations that my talented sister in law made for my post wedding hens night,
6). A few photos from said hens night...can't give too many inside secrets away!
7). Brisbane reception photos,
8). And, believe it or not, an elegant sports themed wedding!

So my new, New Years resolution (you can make them after New Years right?!) is to get back into posting most weekdays...please try to hold me to that! But for now enjoy these sneak peek photos of what's instore...

Wedding LOVE...Cass & Bill

Introducing the new Mr & Mrs Bjurstrom!

You may remember this gorgeous couple {or at least their paper goods} from here or here...we have been happily working on their wedding for the past six {plus} months and are finding it hard to believe they are now 100% married! That was until Cass was kind enough to send through some stunning photos of the happy day...

Paper LOVE...Save Our Date

Is it too far into the year to say Happy New Year? Yes? Well I am going to say it anyway...Happy New Year Friends I hope you all had a blessed festive season and a happy and safe New Year.

Ours was wonderful to say the least. We spent most of January with family and friends travelling through Chicago, Toronto and (secretly getting married in) New York. Yes, you read that right we had a super special secret wedding in New York that we can't wait to share with you (just waiting for the professional photos to come through...trust us we can barely contain ourselves so we will be sure and post them as soon as they arrive!).

Today we got a squeal-with-delight, super cute Save The Date in the mail that we created for some very special friends. It was the kick in the butt we needed to get something up on this severely overlooked little blog of ours!

The gorgeous couple are, as always, a delight to create for and so I had a little fun with their engagement photos and some hand lettering to get from this...

We were all pretty chuffed with how they came out...mind you with that gorgeous dachshund in a bow tie we were never going to go wrong!

Wedding LOVE...Inviting Illustrations

Hello lovely {& hopefully very understanding} friends!
Sorry for the recent lengthy absence. On top of back-to-back weddings, 21st birthdays and Bridal Showers there is this little thing, you may have heard of, called Christmas coming up! Before another day passes I am determined to get something up on the blog.

We wanted to share this stunning invitation that we hand illustrated for one of the loveliest couples. They were a delight to create for and we were super excited that we got to incorporate the illustration with the digital design...and so were they!

In a few months we get to make a few more goodies for this sure-to-be gorgeous wedding...and we can't wait {to design them and share them with you!}.

Event LOVE...A Grand Wedding

So part of the reason we have been a little absent on here in the past few weeks is in large part due to what I am about to show you.
Remember the invitations we created here, well the wedding day has arrived {and now past} and what a wedding it was. We created a many number of things for this gorgeous Bride's special day {think 23 table numbers, seating chart, individual menus for 250+ guests, Beverage menus, photo booth signage, Thank you signs, Lolly buffet labels, Cupcake menu} and we wanted to show you sneak peeks of a few of them...

We can't wait to see the professional photos {we are absolutely certain that this will be a magical wedding...and marriage} and share some with you...until then I hope this tides you over!

Event LOVE...A Paddington Party

Have I ever mentioned how lucky I am with the neighbours on my street. Very lucky! We love our drinks together on a Friday night, or a quick {& often not-so-quick} chat while grabbing a coffee and we love to patronise each others stores. Well next Thursday we are combining the lot and all opening up late for a christmas shopping night with bubbles, nibbles and lots of christmas cheer. Here is the flyer we designed for the night...

Paper LOVE...Shower the Bride

Sorry all, this was meant to go up last night but my internet dropped out...AGAIN! Don't get me started! But on a happier, prettier note take a look at this oh-so-sweet bridal shower invitation that went out to some lucky ladies a few weeks ago...
