Event LOVE...A totally Rad Engagement

One of the things I love most about this job is the couples we get to create for.
The latest engagement invites were for two very special people and we were thrilled that they asked us to help with their special event. It makes me happy and anxious {in even parts} when designing for friends because you feel an extra burden to get them just right. But I am happy to report that both the couple and I were ecstatic with how they turned out!

Event LOVE...Paper Programs

We are back in the land of technology...and gosh it feels good!

On Saturday on the other side of the world {in England to be precise} a beautiful wedding was taking place. The beautiful bride is originally from the UK but living in Australia with her groom and we were lucky enough to create the wedding programs and table seating cards for her wedding.
We can't wait to see the programs in situ {I think that might be the farthest any Jean & Joyce goodies have travelled!} thanks for letting us be a part of your special day!

Home LOVE...Pretty Pom Poms

On Monday I was lucky enough to make a special home delivery for some lovely customers.
They are expecting their own special delivery very soon and wanted some beautiful bunches of pom poms to add the finishing touch to the nursery before he or she comes along. We were more than happy to help and almost squealed when we saw how perfectly they matched the already gorgeous nursery...
Good luck Nick & Jenny we can't wait to meet the gorgeous new addition to your beautiful family! We hope he or she likes their gorgeous ceiling decorations as much as we do!

P.s. Did we mention that Nick & Jenny have been customers of ours since the very beginning. Over the years they have collected some gorgeous pieces and were kind enough to let me take photos inside their gorgeous home! Keep an eye out for that post very soon!

Shop LOVE...So Cushy

Have I ever told you guys how great my mum is?
Well, on the chance that I haven't, she really is pretty great!
I thought I would show you all some of the gorgeous cushions she has been making of late...
Is there nothing this woman can't do! If you are in need of any cushions for yourself, the house or a gift pop in store and let mum work her magic for you {I may be a little bias, but I'm sure that you will love them}.

Event LOVE...A fond Farewell

Today I was invited to an event that we had nothing to do with in terms of coordinating, planning or styling.
I did have something to do with it however as it was at my primary school. The principle that helmed the school when I attended {a long 17 years ago...gosh it is amazing to even be able to speak in such lengths of time!} is only just this year retiring after 21 years as head of that school. In my senior year I had the privilege of being named School Captain and so was asked to come back to pay tribute.
I have to say I was a little nervous at the thought of addressing the entire school and it's esteemed guests. But as I drove to the school, a drive that I have made countless times in my life, I was amazed at how familiar and calm  I felt wandering through the grounds and noticing more than one familiar face {I don't know what they put in the water there but no-one seems to want to leave!}.  Happily I got through my speech without a hitch {and then indulged in a bit of morning tea that the P&C had so kindly provided} and all in all felt quite honoured to have been asked to attend!

P.s. Sorry for the lapse in posts it has been a little crazy round here of late...but more on that later!
